By booking with us you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Alps Mont Blanc relationship with you in relation to this website. If you do not agree to these conditions of use, please do not book with us.
The term “Alps Mont Blanc” or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website.

This section deals with conditions relating to the sale of services by Alps Mont Blanc agents to you.

Our Contract:
When you place an order to purchase a service from “ Alps Mont Blanc” snowsport booking agents we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a service, which is accepted by us when we receive payment and send e-mail confirmation to you with a receipt. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Meeting Details via e-mail to you.
All other booking conditions for services can be found in the main booking terms & conditions document available on this site.

BOOKING LESSONS TERMS & CONDITIONS
*All prices quoted by us and paid for by you are for instruction and agent fees only, by paying the deposit and or full balance for your lessons confirms that you have read, understood and agree to these term and conditions. If booking for someone under the age of 18 this also confirms your consent on their behalf as parent / guardian. To ensure you have the best experience, we are always happy to talk through your ski or snowboard lesson to ensure that it’s right for you. It is ultimately your responsibility to make sure that you book yourself and others in your party into friend / family private lessons and that they are of a similar ability. Where we think it is necessary to ensure that you will get the most out of your lesson/s we may have to split your lesson/s where possible. For example a 2hr lesson booking split into 2 x 1hr sessions for the different ability’s.
Ski Lift Pass:
Ski lift passes are not included in the price of your ski lesson. It is your responsibility to provide a valid pass for the duration of your lesson(s) or ski course. The pass must give the necessary access to the area intended to be used during the lesson.

Ski Lesson Confirmation:
Your ski lesson is provisionally held until the due date stated on your invoice only. Lessons are not confirmed until the invoice balance has been paid and received in full. Failure to pay by the due date could result in your lesson being cancelled and reopened for public booking or, allocation of the lesson could be cancelled.

Cancelations by you:
No refunds will be given for any Alps Mont Blanc activity cancelled by you. Depending on the amount of notice given, you will be provided with the following amounts of credits that can be used towards an alternative activity by Alps Mont Blanc:
When cancellation is received in writing by email 28 days or more prior to the start time of your activity, a 100% credit towards an alternative activity will be offered.
When cancellation is received in writing by email less than 28 days but more than 21 days (504 hours) prior to the start time of your activity a 50% credit towards an alternative activity will be offered.
When cancellation is received in writing by email less than 21 day but more than 14 days (336 hours) prior to the start time of your activity a 25% credit towards an alternative activity will be offered.
When cancellation is received in writing by email less than 14 days prior to the start time of your activity, 0% credit will be offered.

We are always sorry if you cannot make the lessons that you have booked in whole or in part due to late arrival, illness, accident, lift mechanical failure or resort closure due to bad weather conditions or for any other cause outside the control of Alps Mont Blanc. If you are unable to attend the lesson on the day, no refund will be given, any rescheduling would be entirely at our discretion. We are however, happy to provide a letter for your insurance company on request.

Cancelations by us:
Alps Mont Blanc reserves the right to cancel or modify its lessons for a variety of reasons. In the unlikely event that Alps Mont Blanc has to cancel / amend the details of your lesson you will be offered the following options:

Accepting the changes:
Accepting an alternative lesson with us for equal value. In the case of the new lesson being of higher value then the difference will be paid for by us. In the case of the new lesson being of lower value the difference in cost will be held as credit on your account.
If no solution can be found resulting in us cancelling your lesson, We will offer you a full refund.

Above the advertised maximum participant’s ski lessons:
We only accept a maximum of 7 people in our lessons. For our Portes du Soleil tours the maximum number is 10.

Right of refusal:
We expressly reserve the right to prevent you from participating in any aspect of your selected course or lesson if in the reasonable opinion of our staff you are unsuited to participate, do not have the required ability and / or fitness level, or if you appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In such an event, no refund or other compensation will be due. Please pay particular attention to the following two sections on ‘Termination & Compensation’ and ‘Medical Conditions & Previous Injuries’.

Termination & Compensation:
Whilst on an Alps Mont Blanc lesson, you and your party are expected to behave in an orderly and acceptable manner. We reserve the right at our reasonable discretion, to terminate the lesson of the people who indulge in serious misconduct. If we do so we will have no further responsibility or liability to you, and contractual obligations will be terminated. This is for your own safety and the safety of the rest of the group and general public.

Medical Conditions & Previous Injuries:
It is essential that you inform Alps Mont Blanc BEFORE booking any lesson with us if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries that may affect your ability to participate fully in your chosen lesson. If your medical condition changes between booking and starting the lesson, it is your responsibility to inform us immediately. Examples include (but are not limited to): high / low blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, asthma, ligament problems / surgery, pregnancy, cancer, dizziness and fainting, chest pains and/or shortness of breath during physical activity, bone and joint problems and any respiratory problems. We also need to know any medication you are currently taking, any major operations you have undergone and injuries you may be carrying.

Any information you divulge will be kept strictly confidential. Letting us know about any of the above allows us to tailor our content where appropriate to keep you safe and having fun. In some cases a doctor’s note stating your ability to take part in the activities outlined in the chosen course may be required. We are not liable for any death, personal injury or illness that occurs from your participation in the course and/or lessons that is a result of a pre-existing medical condition/injury/illness of which you did not make us aware.

Consent To Medical Treatment:
You (the attendee or parent/guardians of attendees under the age of 18) hereby consent to emergency medical treatment being provided to the attendee, and authorise Alps Mont Blanc to sign any authorisation or consent to medical treatment that may be required by the health care provider. All reasonable steps will be taken to contact the parent, guardian or emergency contact in the event that medical attention is required by the attendee.

Insurance:
Alps Mont Blanc does not insure its clients and you are obliged to insure yourself for third party liability. We recommend that you arrange an appropriate policy, which also includes personal, medical and rescue insurance, with a licensed agent. It is our assumption you will have this when attending lessons.
Alps Mont Blanc will not be liable to ‘front’ or cover any medical, rescue, 3rd party costs or any other costs that may arise through our professional decision to action items listed in ‘consent to medical treatment’ through failure to be adequately insured on your part.

Responsibility:
Snowsports, including but not limited to skiing and snowboarding are in their nature dangerous activities and carry inherent risks. While we endeavour to make your lesson as safe as possible, you participate in full knowledge and acceptance of these risks. Alpes Mont Blanc holds no liability for damage to property or liability for personal injury during our lessons. In the event of death or personal injury to yourself or any of your party under your booking, Alpes Mont Blanc do not accept liability if such death or personal injury is not through any fault of ours or our supplier. In particular we do not accept responsibility if the death or injury is caused through no fault of ours or our suppliers, or is due to circumstances which we could not reasonably foresee or have avoided.

Force Majeure:
If you are unable to attend a course due to events outside Alpes Mont Blanc control we will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performance of any of our obligations under these terms and conditions that is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

(‘Force Majeure Event’): A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-occurrence, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following: strikes or other industrial actions; civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat; fire, storm flood or other natural disaster, adverse weather conditions (including heavy/insufficient snow falls or non-freezing conditions), impossibility of the use of railway, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport or delays in relation to such transport; or impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks.

Our obligations under these terms and conditions are suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues and provided that if the Force Majeure Event renders, in our opinion, the course not viable whether from a financial or logistical point of view then we may cancel or postpone the course / lesson.

Vehicles, Personal Possessions & Luggage:
Alps Mont Blanc will not be held responsible for any theft or loss of personal belongings from our rented or actual premises or vehicles. Whilst we will endeavour to ensure the security of personal belongings of the party, we cannot guarantee it. Please be aware of this fact and leave expensive/personally valuable items at home.

DATA USAGE & PRIVACY :
We take your email address at the time of booking in order to email you a confirmation of your booking, containing the details of your booking as well as a link to the meeting point in your resort. Shortly after booking you will be invited to join our mailing list on which we’ll send you news and information we think you’ll find interesting from time to time. All our email communications contain an opt-out link, should you change your mind at any time. We will not supply your email address, or any other personal details, to third parties or suppliers.

PHOTO / VIDEO RELEASE.

Photography:
Alps Mont Blanc regularly film during our sessions, this can be for video feedback purposes of your lesson to help you improve. Occasionally we like to showcase your skills on social media and for marketing purposes by turning these clips into video edits or as photos to be distributed online, printed or included in our weekly award certificates, please do let us know if you do not wish photography or footage of you or your children to be used in this way. We are also asked to create video/photos of your lesson/progress to supply to you at the end of your holiday. You will be asked in advance if we can use the videos on our social media pages.

We promise to only ever use these with good intentions and the following puts that into a more worded version. Please remember if booking for someone under 18 years of age you are consenting on their behalf regarding this photo/video release unless we are instructed by you otherwise.

This section confirms the agreement between you and Alps Mont Blanc and their members, officers, directors, coaches, employees, sponsors, independent contractors and agents regarding your participation in Alps Mont Blanc lessons.

Activities in which you may be photographed or video taped (herein called the Property) from time to time. For valuable consideration received, you hereby irrevocably grant to Alps Mont Blanc and their members, officers, directors, coaches, employees, sponsors, independent contractors and agents perpetually, exclusively, and for all media throughout the world (including print, video, radio, internet and any other electronic medium presently in existence or invented in the future), the right to use and incorporate (alone or together with other materials), in whole or in part, photographs or video footage taken of you as a result of your participation in Alpes Mont Blanc activities. You hereby agree that you will not bring or consent to others bringing claim or action against Alps Mont Blanc and their members, officers, directors, coaches, employees, sponsors, independent contractors and agents on the grounds that anything contained in the Property, or in the advertising and publicity used in connection herewith, is defamatory, reflects adversely on you, violates any other right whatsoever, including, without limitation, rights of privacy and publicity. You hereby release Alps Mont Blanc and their members, officers, directors, coaches, employees, sponsors, independent contractors and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of actions, suits, costs, expenses, liabilities, and damages whatsoever that you may hereafter have against Alps Mont Blanc in connection with the Property. This agreement shall not obligate Alps Mont Blanc and their members, officers, directors, coaches, employees, sponsors, independent contractors and agents to use the Property or to use any of the rights granted hereunder, or to prepare, produce, exhibit, distribute or exploit the Property. Alps Mont Blanc and their members, officers, directors, coaches, employees, sponsors, independent contractors and agents shall have the right to assign its rights hereunder, without your consent, in whole or in part, to any person, firm or corporation.

COMPLAINTS.
In the unlikely event you may have a complaint, you must inform us as soon as possible, preferably in writing, and in resort. We will confirm receipt of your complaint, clarify it to confirm understanding, and do everything reasonable to settle the matter to your satisfaction and our own. If you do not inform us of your complaint immediately the problem occurs we may not be able to investigate and address it, in this case we reserve the right not to deal with the complaint.
